Concrete

Sometimes it just isn't practical to use real concrete. A faux version or replication can be a much cheaper and efficient way of achieving the same look, whilst also giving you complete control over texture and colour.

Collaborating with our friends Powell Plasterwork at Shepperton Studios, together we offer faux concrete surfaces and concrete effect paint finishes which can be provided in a number of ways:

  • Hard plaster/fibreglass sheets that have the relief and texture of real concrete. These sheets can be moulded into sculptural pieces and then be paint finished to a client's spec.
  • Multiple surfaces - paint treated to resemble concrete, again are available in a variety of finishes.
  • Micro topped concrete -  a thin layer of genuine concrete bound in polymer can be applied to a number of surfaces and finished as coarse, semi or highly polished. This can be used in high traffic and wet areas. We often use this material to finish items made in wood/mdf etc.

We've made reception desks, shelving, storage units, tables and mood-lit cubes (see below).  All of the above can then be aged, and finished with stencils, logos, branding, colour treatments or striking artwork.
